Library Services Play a Key Role in CHED RQAT Evaluation at NVSU Bambang Campus

The Library Services of Bambang Campus actively participated in the recent Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) visit conducted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region II for the Bachelor’s in Industrial Technology program on May 21–23, 2025.

The three-day activity, held at the Training Center of Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Bambang Campus, included the Opening Program, Exit Conference, and Closing Program, wherein various academic and support units demonstrated compliance with CHED standards and requirements.

As part of the evaluation process, the Head Librarian was invited for an interview with the RQAT assessors. During the session, the librarian presented relevant documents and provided detailed information highlighting the library’s resources, services, and support mechanisms associated with the needs of the Bachelor’s in Industrial Technology program major subjects.

The participation of the Library Services underscores its vital role in supporting academic instruction, research, and extension functions of the institution of higher learning. It also reflects the unit’s commitment to maintaining high standards in information service delivery and contributing to the institution’s continuous quality improvement efforts.

Through its active engagement in the CHED RQAT visit, the Library Services reaffirmed its dedication to institutional quality assurance and its ongoing support for program accreditation and development initiatives.

The successful conduct of the assessment is another achievement for NVSU Bambang Campus in strengthening its academic programs and ensuring the delivery of excellence in higher education.
